Jen's Bio
Jennifer McCollum is president of IntraVision Inc., a company that helps individuals and groups create the results they want in their lives and organizations. Specifically, IntraVision helps executives and organizations by building their capability around developing a purpose (mission), creating a vision, and collaborating more effectively. Her services include executive coaching, strategic planning, team building and facilitation. Jennifer is also dedicated to preparing women to excel in the professional world and continue the progress for womens equality and leadership. Prior to founding IntraVision, Jennifer spent 10 years in the corporate and high-tech world, working internationally in Marketing and Communications for The Coca-Cola Company, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Chile and EzGov, a software company focused on bringing government services to the Internet. Her experience includes communications strategy and implementation, media and presentation training and organizational development. Jennifer was trained in organizational development at Coca-Cola, where she went through an intensive program to become a Learning Skills Consultant to Coca-Colas Global Communications function. In her final years at the company, she focused internally on helping the organization operate more effectively worldwide. She led the European Division in creating a mission and vision, and building the teams capability to operate together in a way that would lead to the functions success. That included designing and facilitating a process to develop operating principles for the group, as well as developing online knowledge management tools and processes to better coordinate and capture communication and learning. Since starting IntraVision, Jennifer has designed and delivered individual workshops focused on coaching executives to become the kind of leaders they want to be, and also group personal visioning workshops, designed to help women define and discover success from a whole-life perspective, integrating the personal with the professional. Through her consulting practice, she has worked with start-up companies and numerous public companies, helping them to define their future; to understand what is preventing them from solving their recurring problems; and to put structures in place to help them achieve what they want. Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University with a B.A. degree in Psychology and Communications. She earned her Masters in Communications on scholarship from the University of Stirling in Stirling, Scotland. She is dedicated to helping individuals and teams fulfill their full potential. A mother of two young children, she is also dedicated to mastering the art of juggling babies, phones, food and keyboards.
